Dillweedz Cafe started out in July 2008, at 1244 main street in Springfield. In March 2010, we moved to our current location 91 state street. Our new home has been a tremendous success. It has enabled us to grow our business over the past year as it is a much larger space not only for our guests, but for our staff as well. At Dillweedz Cafe we strive to consistently offer our guests a friendly-casual atmosphere, while bringing back the fresh made-from-scratch food Mom used to make; with a twist or two! Where else can you get a 'Perfect 10' and a 'Hot Chic' to go?
Whether it's a huge made-to-order 'Kermit's Revenge' on a freshly-baked Panini or a bowl of one of our delicious home-made soups (yep, we have vegetarian soup daily!), when you're done, we know one of our fresh-out-of-the-oven made from scratch Chocolate Chip Cookies will surely hit the spot!!
Now the name may imply the opposite, but we try to have a smart approach to the way we treat the planet. We are continually seeking ways to improve our Environmental Impact. Partnering with local vendors, recycling, and using an interesting variety of eco-friendly products are some of the ways we try to reduce our footsteps. :)
No, you can't eat the silverware made from potatoes, or the cups made from corn, but those alone with the soup & coffee cups, among several other products, are 100% compostable! They will be gone from the planet in 90 days.
